Florida, here we come!

Star Yacht Group is ready to kick off our winter season between Florida, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas!! We are super excited to announce our attendance at the 62nd edition of FLIBS, Fort Lauderdale International Yacht Show, held from 27th to 31st of October.

After last year's low-profile show, which saw the attendance shrink significantly due to Covid-19 restrictions, this year's show promises to be on par with the previous events held before the pandemic, obviously with all preventive sanitary measures. The show covers an area of approximately three million square feet of exhibition space with more than 1,000 boats and yachts nearly 300 feet, including numerous food & drink points where you can take a break.

The organizers worked closely with the embassies so that interested exhibitors could take part in the event without hitches due to travel restrictions still in force for some countries. This year marks the return of The Superyacht Village. It will be in the new ‘Pier South’ property of the Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina, which will host mega yachts and striking exhibits.

The superyacht lifestyle is back in this FLIBS edition, with lots of yachts with their toys, such as helicopters, submarines, and luxury cars like Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, and Audi. In addition to the exhibitions, there will be the AquaZoneTM, presented by Nautical Ventures, open during the show hours. An appealing attraction planned to give the show attendants a thrilling personal experience while demonstrating a multitude of water sports and toys and avant-garde aquatic products.

Technological innovation is one of the new elements increasingly present in the exhibitions of recent years. The presence of manufacturers of hybrid power systems for yachts among the exhibitors will foresee many more battery-powered boats at this show. Between the other novelties of this year, the debut of a fleet of four brand new Ocean Alexander superyachts, which for over 40 years has been producing luxury yachts between 14 and 47 meters. These yachts belong to the Revolution & Legend series that will be exhibited together for the first time.

We are eager and excited to participate in this edition of FLIBS, which promises to be a rich opportunity after a successful season in the Mediterranean where superyachts and their charters have been the protagonists.

Let's meet up in Fort Lauderdale!
