The port of Bosa is located at the mouth of the Temo river, on the western coast of Sardinia; to the north and south are the ports of Alghero and Oristano respectively. The term "commercial port" is used to identify the maritime portion and "river port" to indicate the part of the port located along the Temo river. On the northern side of Bosa Marina, there is a dock about 115 meters long, called "Banchina fluviale". In the river port there are two fuel distribution plants but there are no port services, such as tugboats, pilots, moorers and boatmen. On the other bank of the river, about 600 meters from the mouth, in inland waters, there are two tourist landing places, with over 400 berths and services.
