The port of Carloforte is located on the east coast of the Island of San Pietro and is protected by two piers (the Sanità pier to the north and the San Vittorio pier to the south). Inside the port there are concrete docks and some floating piers managed by private. Outside the port basin, to the north of it, there is a dock for fishing boats protected to the south by the first section of the Sanità pier and to the north by a pier with a SSE direction, completely quayed; inside there are two floating piers, which depart perpendicularly from the shore quay, and a slipway.
